German Society for Allergology and Clinical Immunology (DGAKI)
Working Purpose: DGAKI (German Society for Allergology and Clinical Immunology) is a non-profit-making registered society who has grown to be the leading platform for research in the field of allergies in Germany. The DGAKI organizes conferences and workshops, awards prizes for outstanding research and is editor to the Allergo Journal, a renowned research-oriented journal in the field of allergies. Its aim is to stimulate and support research about allergy-related topics and convey profound knowledge to practitioners and researchers alike for the benefit of patients.
The society was founded in 1951 and now has members in more than 30 countries, mostly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
